Overview
Housed in the main building complex this small meeting room with its delicate light was named after the Duke of Brunswijk, Military Governor of Den Bosch from 1751 to 1784. His nickname ‘The Fat Duke’ was probably due to obesity. A municipal drawing from the Utrecht Archives is displayed on a wall. The wall can be removed to merge with the adjoining room, thus creating the larger “Hertogen” room.
